Michael L. Iosua is a partner at DigitalLegal.org with vast experience in representing clients on many aspects of legal issues. Michael’s practice includes commercial litigation, administrative law, government relations, entity formation and governance, and trusts and estates. As a commercial litigator, Michael has managed all facets of complex litigation from analysis and strategy development through trial and/or settlement negotiations. His practical and strategic approach to the practice of law adds significant value to clients helping to resolve difficult issues with innovative solutions. Michael has also represented a diverse base of clients including resorts, technology and energy companies on regulatory issues and before state and local legislative bodies.
On the personal side, Michael is a tremendous sports enthusiast having played football at the University of Hawaii where he was an all-conference defensive tackle and team captain. He maintains a strong interest in college athletics serving as a member of the board of directors for the state of Hawaii’s stadium and entertainment district and as the president of the University of Hawaii’s booster club. Michael is also committed to community service through his participation on the boards of several nonprofit organizations including the Kahuku Medical Center and volunteers as a pro bono attorney for small startup companies.
Michael received his law degree from J. Reuben Clark School of Law, Brigham Young University, his M.B.A. from the Marriott School of Management, Brigham Young University, and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In 2015 he was chosen as a member of the Pacific Century Fellows and was named to Pacific Business News’ “40 Under 40” in 2016.
Michael is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Nevada and Hawaii.
