Melissa is a dedicated paralegal, bringing a unique blend of personal and professional experience to the education law team. As a mother of six, including a son with autism, she has firsthand experience navigating the complexities of the school system to advocate for her children's rights. This personal journey has fueled her passion for ensuring that all students receive the support and accommodations they need.

Before transitioning to the legal field, Melissa worked as an elementary school teacher, where she gained valuable experience working with special needs students in a classroom setting. Her background in education and her commitment to supporting families in challenging situations guide her work at the firm.

Outside of work, she is an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboys and BYU fan. She loves spending her free time cooking/baking, spending time with her husband and kids at the beach and getting lost in a good book.
