Dulce Maria obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. She is currently working on obtaining her master of science degree in clinical mental health counseling. She has over 17 years of experience with volunteering and working directly with the disability community. She has worked as a peer trainer, behavior interventionist, registered behavior technician, and job coach for children, teens, and young adults with autism. Her participation in the disability community and university campus has connected her with like-minded individuals who want to make a difference in the world. Dulce Maria has a passion for disability advocacy, mental health awareness, and supporting parents within the English/Spanish communities. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, trying new coffee spots, singing, and going on road trips.
