Kari Hansen, Esq.
Kari Hansen is an associate attorney at Lex Tecnica, where she focuses her practice on intellectual property and special education advocacy. She takes pride in providing knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and compassionate representation to her clients. Kari began her career in the Corporate and Securities group of a top Washington DC firm representing U.S. and international clients with contract negotiations, securities filings, regulatory compliance, and other commercial dealings. She has also had the opportunity to represent clients both large and small with litigation, non-profit management, and family law matters. She believes that regardless of the size or scope of the matter, each client deserves the same respect, dedication, and excellence in their legal representation.
Kari firmly believes that it is a privilege to advocate for those that cannot advocate for themselves. For this reason, she has sought unique opportunities to give back to communities at home and abroad. From interning at the United Nations’ Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, volunteering at a non-profit law firm representing victims of domestic violence in civil cases against their abusers, serving as an Immigration Court law clerk, or volunteering with a micro-enterprise organization in Peru to help entrepreneurs optimize their small businesses, she has endeavored to bridge the gap between complex legal frameworks and real-world human needs. Kari approaches every legal challenge with a problem-solving mindset and strives to craft creative, practical solutions for her clients.
